Mylife.com, a site that has more than 60 million registered users, has announced today their new service called Mylife Social App and Dashboard, which is available on the Web and for mobile phones that run either Android or iOS.

This new service enables people to manage their social media profiles and email accounts in a single, central hub. The users can link their Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail accounts as well as their Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter social profiles. Later on there will be added support for Pinterest and Tumblr.

The company also announced the results of the "Connecting and Communicating Online: State of Social Media" study, which was conducted online by Harris Interactive. According to the results, 62% of the users fear that they will miss out on important updates or events if they don't check their social media profiles on a daily basis. Jeff Tinsley, CEO of MyLife, declared that their "Social Dashboard makes it easy for everyday users " not just marketers or big brands " to manage their busy online lives by receiving and sending email and social media updates all in one place".

The new dashboard is based on the integrated social communications application Threadsy, which was bought by the company earlier this year.

Among features of the new Social Dashboard we can find:

1 Email messaging and filters - you can filter messages by accounts and send content through one or more accounts at the same time

2 Push and pull social media network management - you can organize your social profiles by networks or you can view the updates all at once; basically you can check everything that happens on your other social networks without leaving the MyLife dashboard

3 Search for new Contacts - you can search new contacts that are either on MyLife or on your favorite social networks

The Social Dashboard from MyLife is free for use, but there is a premium option. If you want to view who searched for your name or who visited your profile, then you will have to pay for that extra perk. At the moment there are around 600,000 paid customers.
