Joshua Lundberg of Northborough has always been a dog lover. Because of his love for dogs, Joshua Lundberg of Northborough was excited when his family was chosen by the Monks of New Skeete to participate in a German Shepherd breeding program. While his family assisted with the breeding, Joshua Lundberg of Northborough helped out by socializing the puppies. When asked to comment on his experience with the Monks of New Skeete, Joshua Lundberg of Northborough stated, “I loved the time my family and I spend working with the German Shepherd breeding program. I have always loved dogs, and it was really fun to get to work with puppies all day.”

The Monks of New Skeete are a group of monks that live in a monastery located in Cambridge, New York. These monks are very well known for working the German Shepherd breed. Throughout the past 50 years, these monks have been working on a wide range of methods for training large dogs such as German Shepherds. In addition, the Monks of New Skeete have written many volumes discussing how to train and raise German Shepherds. Because of this history, Joshua Lundberg of Northborough and his family were very lucky to work with the Monks of New Skeete.

During his time spent with the Monks of New Skeete, Joshua Lundberg of Northborough learned a lot about socializing puppies. The most important thing that Joshua Lundberg of Northborough learned was that when it comes to puppies, you have to be patient. Puppies are quite similar to human babies; they cannot be expected to learn something after only one try. Joshua Lundberg of Northborough learned that patience is important when socializing and raising puppies.

In addition, Joshua Lundberg of Northborough learned that he needed to become the dominant leader of the pack in order to gain the respect of the puppies. By learning these lessons, Joshua Lundberg of Northborough was able to successfully socialize puppies in the German Shepherd breeding program. Joshua Lundberg of Northborough has stated that he would love to return to the Monks of New Skeete to again assist with their German Shepherd breeding program.
