James Ivy of Ricoh Leads Business Into The Digital Age

James Ivy of Ricoh is a business professional with over 20 years of experience and is leading Ricoh into the digital age.

 
Prior to assuming his position at Savin in 1995, James Ivy of Ricoh served in various sales and marketing positions of Ricoh for 14 years. In 1981, James Ivy began working for Ricoh as the director of western sales. Since that time, he has moved up to become the president and chief executive officer and also a member of the board of directors. As a member of the board and the leader of the company, it is James Ivy of Ricoh’s responsibility to lead Ricoh in being on top of new advances in technology. James Ivy of Ricoh guided Ricoh and pioneered the multifunctional digital copier for the office with the IMAGIO 320, and also launched the IMAGIO MF200, a compact and highly affordable copier that brought many offices into the digital age. In 1995, Ricoh broadened their international sales network by acquiring Savin Corporation and Gestetner Holdings PLC. James Ivy of Ricoh was given the position of executive vice president, chairman, and CEO of Savin in 1995.

Recently James Ivy of Ricoh was promoted to the position of executive vice president of Ricoh. He will continue as a member of the board of directors and be a driving force in leading Ricoh into the new digital age. “I am very excited with the opportunity to serve Ricoh in this new position and to work with Kirk Yoshida in guiding the growth of Ricoh in the years ahead,” James Ivy of Ricoh said. “The office equipment industry is experiencing major changes with the advent of digital technology, and Ricoh is well positioned with products, services, and support to lead the industry as we move forward into the digital age,” James Ivy of Ricoh added.

James Ivy of Ricoh has continued his education by taking a process management course offered by Deming Quality Controls and completing his Six Sigma Process Controls certification while in Tokyo, Japan.
