Beatri Nel is very passionate about everything she does, something that shines through in both the numerous beautiful works she creates and the invaluable service and support she provides the local community. On one hand, Nel works diligently to create visionary, imaginative pieces that present a harmonious connection between the elegant feminine form and scenic backdrops of nature. On the other, she volunteers much of her time, and proceeds from the sales of her work, to local causes she believes to be so important to the health and strength of the local community.

As an artist, Beatri Nel hopes to inspire not just through her work, but also through financial contributions to a local street kid project; an institution so important to the support and care of local youths throughout the area. Much of the profits she receives from selling her work go directly towards the organization, which relies on the help of people like Nel to function and make a differe3nce.

Beatri Nel also generously gives of her time and energy to provide art instruction to a mentally disabled woman in Pretoria. By volunteering to spend time with and teach the finer points of art to someone in need, Nel is able to lift the hopes and the spirit of someone who relies on the support of others to get by. She is proud to be an active and positive influence and role model in the woman’s life, and to share her wisdom, talent and knowledge of art with someone in need.

As a professional photographer, Nel understands the importance of the medium as a way to influence, inspire and make a difference. She can often be found donating her considerable skill to the Solidarity Helping Hand organization, a charity designed to provide much-needed meals to starving children throughout Pretoria. The sole source of food to thousands of local preschoolers, the organization continues to help children and families stem the effects of poverty.

Beatri Nel doesn’t support charity, or volunteer her time, energy and money, to earn accolades for the community. She seeks only to be a positive voice for support and change throughout her local community.
