For a long time, his work has been widely respected, even when he was still in school. While carrying out his clinical internship at the University of Mississippi, Joseph J Plaud received an award for the Best Research Article in the Journal of Behavior Therapy and Experimental Psychiatry.

Not only does he help sexual offenders undergo the treatment they need, he often coordinates residential services like halfway houses for them. These halfway houses provide the right environment for the patients to recover, and once their period is complete, Dr. Plaud assists them re-integrate into society. It is not always easy for such offenders to be accepted into society, he concedes, but Joseph J Plaud does his level best to ensure they get the right people around them to make the process easier.

Psychology is just one of the many passions in Dr. Plaud’s life. He is an avid historian with a deep interest in the Franklin Roosevelt administration. He has collected thousands of artifacts from the administration’s time, which he kept in the Franklin D. Roosevelt American Heritage Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Also, when he gets the time, he loves to design websites, with some of his familiar works being the website for The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence, Rhode Island.
