Anne Hathaway has fallen in love on the big screen several times during a number of romantic comedies but her fictional fairytale is about to become a reality because the actress is now engaged to her real-life boyfriend, Adam Shulman.

Engagement rumors started circulating on Sunday after the starlet was spotted wearing a ring at a park in Brooklyn. But Hathaway's rep officially confirmed the news this morning to People magazine, stating that the two lovebirds are definitely getting married.

Over the summer, Hathaway gushed about her boyfriend at the One Day premiere, saying, "I am a romantic at heart. He's the best" But falling in love so quickly wasn't part of her initial plan. The actress previously admitted, "I am very much in love with him, only Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool". The couple began dating in 2008.
