Advanced Television and Film – Script to Screen at Centennial College is geared towards individuals who are already in the industry and hope to get a well-rounded perspective on the overall process of developing films and TV shows.

It is beneficial for actors, writers, directors, producers, editors and other film and television craftspeople to understand what it takes to develop and produce quality feature films and TV shows.

Centennial College offers a program that allows them to gain comprehensive, in-depth, hands-on understanding of what goes into all of these aspects of the industry. In part a script writing program, this offering also teaches students to create, pitch, develop, outline, draft and polish four production-ready film scripts of 10 minutes or less in length. As a real-life aspect in the second semester of their studies, students perform in, shoot and post these shows.

Among the other script writing Toronto-based programs, this offering is unique in that it does not stream students into master classes immediately but rather offers solid information on everyone's roles during production. As a result, graduates are better able to collaborate, improvise, problem-solve and empathize with their fellow cast and crewmembers.
