Los Angeles, CA (May 30, 2014) – Uproar Entertainment (http://www.uproarcomedycd.com/) is pleased to announce the upcoming release of their newest comedy CD, “It Had To Be Said”, by the multi-faceted and extremely talented Trenton Davis.

Davis turned the corner in his comedy career with his 3rd place finish at the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Contest in 2013, where he captured the attention of David Drozen, founder of Uproar Entertainment. After logging 10,000+ hours on the road, on the stage, and “doin’ comedy”, he now has the opportunity to put together the first complete collection of his unique brand of comedy for his rapidly expanding audience. Add to this two first place finishes in the Sacramento, CA and Raleigh, NC comedy contests also in 2013, and the result is the career breakthrough that Trenton Davis knew was coming.

Using his blog “Writing is the Soul’s Exhale” Trenton is able to further both his passion and his purpose: “My passion is performing comedy, writing, teaching, encouraging and debating. My purpose is teaching and encouraging others to chase their dream and using comedy as my platform/pulpit.” With this recording, many more will be able to hear his message.

Drozen is well known for recognizing future comedy stars, and in his words, “Trenton’s Comedy reflects the real world. He’s funny, intelligent and might be the most confident Comedian I have ever seen.” This may be one of many collaborations between these two talented men of comedy.

Trenton Davis was recorded at the Laffs Comedy Caffe in Tucson, AZ over the weekend of April 24-26, 2014.

About Trenton Davis
With an impressive 3rd place finish in the prestigious 2013 Seattle International Comedy Contest as well as 1st place finish in the 2013 Sacramento Comedy Festival and another 1st place finish in the 2013 WorldSeries of Comedy Raleigh Satellite contest, Trenton Davis’ ten thousand plus hours of Stand-up comedy are beginning to show dividends!

He’s carried that momentum into 2014 with a 2nd place finish in the San Diego Comedy Festival. Trenton was raised in a dual parent household in a rural county of Greensboro, NC. He attended a high school that was 97% white and then followed that up with attending a Historically Black College. His unique experiences have shaped his views and created one of the best comedic minds of our generation.

Trenton looks at everyday problems (i.e.war, dating, politics) and offers hilarious non-everyday solutions. Trenton has lived in three major comedy cities (Chicago, San Francisco & Los Angeles) and featured for over 45 comedy clubs across the US. His largest credits to date have been featuring for Tracy Morgan, Jon Lovitz, and a television appearance on Bar Rescue. He is currently a writer on the new Beats by Dre Pill campaign.

Trenton welcomes one and all to follow him on Twitter (@trentoncomedy).
