Casio Edifice Wrist Watches For Men and Women

Well, Casio manufactures several versions of the now famous Casio Edifice watch for men and women.

Since I do watch reviews, my brother-in-law asked me to accompany him to the local Casio watch store. On the way to the store, he said he would most likely buy the Casio Edifice. "Wow, but which one?" I asked him and he gave me a confused look which also gave me the idea for my next review.

Well, Casio manufactures several versions of the now famous Casio Edifice watch for men and women. At the top-end there's the Casio protrek solar and the Casio Edifice Analog-Digital watch. Both versions of Casio Edifice retail for around $200. The middle is occupied by the Casio Edifice Analog watch (with 3 sub-dials) and retail at around $150 while at the lower end you have the plain vanilla Casio Edifice Analog watch (no sub-dials) that retails for around $90. If this is ‘low down’ for you then take a look at the latest Casio Edifice $1,000 watch.

The latest from Casio at the top-end is the Casio edifice watches. Released this year (just under $1,000), the Casio Edifice EQW-A1200 Sensor Chronograph Watch would be perfectly at home in a spaceship – it has a space age design and the technology to back it up. For example, the Casio Edifice EQW-A1200 Sensor Chronograph Watch integrates something called 'Multi-Mission Drive' - an analog drive system developed by Casio. The 'Multi-Mission Drive technology enables you to move both watch hands independent of each other.

The Casio Protrek watch also incorporates the Multi-Band 6 technology time-calibration sensors. The watch can automatically correct the time based on inputs received from any of the 6 atomic time stations around the world - one each in UK, China, Germany and the US. And, there are two atomic time stations in Japan.

The busy executive flying all over the world will love the 29-city World Time function coordinated universal time. The World time function keeps the user synchronized with the local time in any of the 29 major cities.

Of course, the Casio Protrek watch is called “Chronograph” because there’s a multi-function chronograph in it complete with a compass (the second hand points North). The watch also has a stopwatch that measures time in 1/20th of a second increments for up to 1 hour.

The Casio Protrek Atomic Radio Controlled Watch also incorporates a new vibration resistant technology. So whether you’re piloting a F1, a Helicopter, a space shuttle or hurtling down the mountain in your cross-country motorbike, your watch will continue to keep perfect time without it being least affected by vibrations.

The watch is water tight for up to 100 meters depth and powers itself by solar energy. So if you’re thinking of the perfect watch for that trip to Mars, the Casio Edifice EQW-A1200 Sensor Chronograph Watch has the looks and the technology to match.
