Harjot Kaur Sidhu of Fargo Announces 2 Years as Vice President of Alpha Epsilon Honor Society

Harjot Kaur Sidhu of Fargo is a graduate from North Dakota State University and was elected as Vice President of Alpha Epsilon in 2011. She continues to hold this position and is celebrating her second year of service.

 
During the course of her studies at North Dakota State University, Harjot Kaur Sidhu of Fargo was elected to the esteemed position of Vice President at Alpha Epsilon honor society. She received this nomination while pursuing a Master of Science degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. Harjot Kaur Sidhu of Fargo was elected to Alpha Epsilon as Vice President in 2011 and is excited to announce her second year in this role.

Alpha Epsilon is an honor society within the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers that recognizes outstanding engineers in the biological, food, and agricultural fields. The society has three levels of membership: active, honorary, and alumni. Active and alumni memberships are available to engineering students, and honorary memberships are given to engineers with notable achievements in agricultural and biological engineering. Harjot Kaur Sidhu of Fargo became a member within the active category, as she was a Masters level student at the time of her nomination. Two years later, she continues to hold this type of membership. Alpha Epsilon has fourteen different state chapters within the United States and hosts an annual conference to present advancements in the aforementioned fields of engineering.

For Harjot Kaur Sidhu of Fargo, receiving the election to Vice President of Alpha Epsilon was a significant moment in her studies and professional career. She explains, “Receiving the nomination was an honor.
