War of any kind is not an answer. Warfare of the mind and spirit is the worst of all. This includes ideological assaults and the physical assaults of racism.

Real and perceived injustice are tearing apart cities in the US. There is economic suppression in countries all over the world, even if the economic system and the form of government are egalitarian, a suppressed economy is a side effect of Coronavirus. This, by itself, suspends rights and freedoms that many of us have taken for granted personally all our lives. Our countries and cultures have nourished these freedoms for centuries to now find them suffocated. If shut downs, stay at homes and lock downs don't get you, the political divides caused by these will.
War of any kind is not an answer. Warfare of the mind and spirit is the worst of all. This includes ideological assaults and the physical assaults of racism.

This is where Human Rights come in. They point of view that a person has rights, that each individual has rights just because they are a human being, can undercut any and all of this behavior.
Can, that is the operative word. Change must be desired , so people must be brought to awareness. Education in basic human rights is essential. If it begins very early, with nursery school,
and is continual, there might be a chance that we will evolve. Education is a means of growth and change. While immediate address to injustices are necessary, real and long lasting change will need the shift that comes with a real knowledge. Education in basic Human Rights as laid out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is key. "Human rights must be a reality, not an idealistic dream.", L. Ron Hubbard Every person you see has essential rights. Every one. www.unitedforhumanrights.org @humanrightstampa
