The intense prevention measures being taken by the whole country are not only for people who have been infected and have symptoms. There is also a percentage who have been infected and do not have any symptoms. They carry the virus but do not have any of the symptoms so they continue to spread it. Just by talking without having enough separation or social distance, or by touching their faces and then touching things around them and they spread the virus to others without knowing it.

For this reason, prevention measures, such as social distancing, the use of masks and gloves and avoiding meetings with large numbers of people, are basic measures, add to that hand washing, hygiene, and the sanitizing of the spaces with alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or chlorine bleach to safeguard yourself and others.

Germs can be spread from person to person, by a cough, sneeze or handshake. Germs can also be transmitted by touching something an infected person has touched, such as a countertop or a pet. Another way germs are spread is by consuming infected food or drink. Coming in contact with insects or other animals that carry infection can also transmit germs.
