After a long career as a senior executive manager at Election Systems & Software, John Groh was honored to be presented with the Live Above the Line Award in 2011. Each year, the company bestows the award on employees who have provided key contributions towards meeting the company’s financial objectives for the year. The award is very prestigious within the company, as it is only given to the top 1%-3% of performers within the organization.

John Groh’s career with ES&S began in 1995. Since then, he has filled several different roles within the company as an experienced senior manager executive. For instance, John Groh has served as the Senior Vice President of various key areas of the company, such as new Product Development, Marketing and PR, Government Relations, and Ballot Management Services. John Groh also served as the president of ES&S’s International company.

Over the course of his career, John Groh has become a seasoned businessman who has been an integral part of company’s sales and profitability growth. John Groh has a particular expertise in the fields of new business development, new product and new market development, and mergers and acquisitions. Thanks to his many years of experience, John Groh has become a respected and proven leader at all levels of the company.

Since John Groh has held such an admired position within his own company, he has had the opportunity to join a number of industry organizations. For instance, John Groh is a member of and served as the chairman of the Election Technology Council, a company associate member of the National Association of Secretary of States, and the National Association of State Election Directors.
