Bend Oil Company was created in the 1920’s by the Shell Company. In 2003, Robert John Nordby became both owner and President of Bend Oil Company. His clients range throughout the central part of Oregon and rely on him to provide quality gasoline, fuel, lubricants, and heating oil. After taking ownership of Bend Oil Company, Robert John Nordby recognized the need for a more efficient way of managing fuel for large and small sized transportation fleets.

Robert John Nordby worked on the design of a new fuel management division of the company. After the plans were made, Supervised Fuels was created. “Supervised Fuels is a terrific fleet fuel management program,” says owner Robert John Nordby. By managing fuels, Supervised Fuels is designed to lower a fleet’s total cost of operation. “Our fuel management service reduces the labor cost of fueling. Employees spend less time fueling and more time driving and working. In turn, this boosts the productivity of our clients’ companies,” says Robert John Nordby.

An additional benefit of the program is its oversight system. “We created Super Oversight which reduces company loss by reducing or eliminating fuel theft and unauthorized non-fuel purchases,” says Robert John Nordby.
