Until 4:30 P.M. at the Olympic Collection, 11301 W. Olympic Blvd, Suite 204 in Los Angeles. The seminar will focus on new laws passed to switch medical offices from the Official Medical Fee Schedule (OMFS) to the Medical/Resource Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS). The official change will take place on January 1, 2014, and it is important to get up to date on all the changes before then. While switching to RBRVS is intended to save offices time and money, the system is actually very complicated, with over fifty thousand pages of ground rules. Sunjanel Avecilla is thankfully an expert on coding and the new RBRVS schedule, and will be appearing along with a panel of other experts. The seminar is designed to provide comprehensive information on what has changed, what will remain the same, and what all medical offices need to know now.
