A contract has been signed by PT. Bahtera Bahari Shipyard with Sinoking Machinery for the delivery of a 12 inch Cutter Suction Dredger. The dredger is to be operated to create and maintain a new port in Indonesia.

This is the first Sinoking CSD to be purchased by PT. Bahtera Bahari, and is designed for operations with a production capacity of 2000 mᶟ/h to a dredging depth of twelve metres.

The 12 inch cutter suction dredger is operated to create the new port first.Once completed, the 12 inch cutter suction dredger is operated to dredging for the new port.

The dredger is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia at the beginning of August, equipped with all the necessary equipment, including a 1000 metre pipeline, to operate in this very remote area.
