Dr. Behnam Rostami is an experienced dentist who’s worked in the profession since 1981. With more than three decades to look back at, he’s fond of the learning experiences and accomplishments that he’s gone through. Most of all, he is proud of a career that has enabled him to grow professionally and personally.

Not many people are fortunate to work in their careers for as long as Dr. Behnam Rostami has, but he’s taken every day at a time. He started as a young dentist in his home country of Iran at a time when the nation was involved in a conflict with Iraq. It was an unsettling time for the nation, and medical professionals were needed to deal with the injured. A young Dr. Rostami gave his all towards helping fellow countrymen. His work was appreciated by many, and by 1987, he had pooled enough resources to run his own private practice.

It’s the dream of many dentists to run private offices, and Dr. Rostami has managed to accomplish this not just once, but twice in his career. The private office he established in Tehran in 1987 operated until 2000, when he made the decision to move to the United States. Moving to a new country is rarely an easy transition, but Rostami made every effort to make sure that he was prepared for life in the US. Upon passing the Dental National Board Test in 2000, he made the move and settled in California, where he also applied for and gained a dental license to practice.

As a professional in a new country, Dr. Behnam Rostami had to learn to appreciate the new culture and way of doing things. Thankfully, he could rely on work as an associate dentist at multiple dental practices in the state to provide a living. After working in private practices for the better part of a decade, he was finally able to open his own practice in March 2011.

Dr. Rostami has worked hard to establish a successful career and has so far managed to open two private dental offices in California.
