Stress comes in many forms and escalates to different levels. It could be from work, school, family, personal, and peers. There are times that it could be too much and the good news is that there is an app that can measure it.
The Daily+ Stress Monitor app works by taking a real-time video of the user’s facial features.
Unlike other stress measurement apps on the shelf, it is non-contact and non-invasive. No external devices, smartwatches, or other stress measurement gadgets are needed.
Available on Google Play Store for free, a quick procedure using the application will give a user an instant assessment of their current stress level. This helps them manage their stress and live a better lifestyle.
How does it work?
The user needs to enable his or her front camera on her smartphone while using the app. In order to get better results, the user needs to take the measurement under ambient lighting and the smartphone needs to be stabilized.
The user should remove facial accessories and keep the whole face visible to the front camera.
The user needs to position his or her face until the green frame is steadily shown and to remain still during the whole procedure.
The stress measuring app provides the user’s current stress level and insights regarding their result. The user can keep a history of their measurements in the calendar form when they subscribe to the app.
Daily+ Stress Monitor is for personal stress monitoring purposes only, not for medical use.
In regards to the user’s privacy, the video preview images used in the app won't be stored either locally or on the cloud.
