Rembert, South Carolina (October 23, 2012) - Modern Turf, Inc., the preeminent, South Carolina-based turfgrass production company, announced installation of its Miniverde Ultradwarf Bermudagrass turf for the newly redesigned nine-hole golf course at Sequatchie Valley Golf and Country Club in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee.

The reconstruction was performed by King Collins Golf Course Design; and the brand new, 3200-yard naine hole course at Sequatchie Valley Golf and Country Club features a substantial elevation change from that of its 80-year-old predecessor. Hank Kerfoot, President of Modern Turf, Inc., said, “Having the ability to transform this much-loved historic course into a modern, playable course, made this a dream project for us. The new design, with its improved drainage system and the addition of various mounds, is the perfect complement to our durable Miniverde Ultradwarf Bermudagrass turf.”
