Bisola Akinyemi has always been a family man at heart and he is delighted to see all of his daughters progress while he nurtures them as people. He has been working closely with his youngest daughter for many years, ever since he first discovered that she had a natural aptitude for swimming when they went to a local pool when she was a young child.

He has been involved with her training ever since and has helped her to learn all of the basic techniques that she needs in order to be a championship swimmer. He already recognizes that she has surpassed his skill level over the course of the last couple of years and he is now looking to help her to become even better by providing the coaching she needs, alongside the love that he has always given her, so that she can make the best use of her talents.

Akinyemi has always made it a point to be supportive of his youngest daughter, to the point where he would have been more than happy to help her pursue other interests if she had decided that swimming wasn’t for her. Happily, she shares her father’s passion for the sport and has taken it far beyond anything that he may have thought possible during those initial days when she was first learning about the difference between a breast stroke and front crawl.

The duo are now regular fixtures at local competitions, with Akinyemi’s daughter already proving to be above the level of most of her fellow swimmers. She has placed first in a number of championship races over the course of the last two years, all with her father cheering her on from the sidelines and giving her the encouragement she needs to keep striving to be the best that she can be.

Today, Bisola Akinyemi is aiming to improve his skills as a coach in any way that he can. By working alongside other coaches and learning from their experiences, he aims to pass on as much knowledge as he can to his daughter so that she can continue to excel in the pool.
