Soho, London, United Kingdom, October 16, 2013 -- The latest buzz word when it comes to customer retention and service is engagement. For individuals to be successful in today’s competitive business environment there is a process that is becoming more important than ever. It’s known as the; know, like, trust process. In other words individuals have to first get to know you, and then a relationship begins to develop until trust is established. This seems especially so in the relationship focused area of recruitment. One such recruitment to recruitment company that embraces this concept to the full is GSR2R. Their latest initiative centres on free training sessions in the park, for any clients and candidates who reside in the London area.

The recruitment sector is a vibrant part of the UK economy. The UK has the second largest number of recruitment businesses in the world second only to Japan.Pre the 2008 downturn recruitment was the second fastest growing sector in the UK. Last year’s recovery has seen a renewed upturn in growth. Yet many people see recruitment as a job rather than a rewarding career. One major exception to this is the rec to rec community who provide recruitment companies with top quality candidates.

One such agency that excels in this market are London based rec to rec company GSR2R; headed by Cheryl Wing their innovative M.D. They are well known in their sector for leading the way when it comes to building relationships with both their clients and candidates. In the last couple of years they have sponsored numerous charitable events, launched an interactive facebook fan page, offered free professional advice and developed a unique and generous referral scheme. Their latest venture focus’s around helping London recruiters to get fit.

Cheryl Wing reveals more; “ As recruiters we are notorious for being workaholics who spend their entire life sitting at a desk. We all know that this isn’t good for us and that a healthy body is linked to a healthy mind. You only need to think about how up beat you can feel after physical activity, especially in the fresh air. The general issue is how to make exercise happen when you lead such a busy life. Earlier this year we tested providing training sessions for free in the evenings with a personal trainer. It went incredibly well. We decided for the autumn to mix it around for those recruiters who couldn’t make the evening slot. We now run a session every Tuesday morning in Green Park at 7.15am, which has been well received. We have had a reputation over many years for caring about the candidates and clients we work with. Giving back in this way is actually good fun and we know it is appreciated.”
