The electronic cigarette maker's daring new viral video pokes fun at common misconceptions surrounding the electronic cigarette. The video entitled, "Are Electronic Cigarettes Weird?" officially launches today on the Bedford Slims homepage and Youtube.

Music video director Allen Cordell (Girl Talk, Beach House) weaves a fictional account of Bedford Slims office life with Naked Gun-style wit and plenty of "WTF" moments. The lead actor, Ben Roberts, delivers a deadpan elevator pitch for Bedford Slims brand vapourettes whilst dodging various sight gags. Home-recording pioneer and indie-rock music icon, R. Stevie Moore joins in to croon his tragically hip ditty, "Cool Daddio" on top of a pack of flavor cartridge refills floating in space, backed by an improvised alien jazz band.
Like, we said, WTF moments.

"You have media myths, FDA regulations in limbo, bizarre celebrity spokespeople, professional vaping contests - the whole electronic cigarette industry can be quite a freak show," said Bedford Slims Creative Director, Lisa Yen.

Lisa added, "At the end of the day, Bedford Slims is really just a normal product that can potentially help smokers."

R. Stevie Moore will be releasing his new cassette only album - R. Stevie Moore - Saturday Singles Series (PIAPTK Recordings) on the second annual Cassette Store Day (counterpart to Record Store Day) on September 27th, 2014.
