Trevor Patzer Received His Masters Degree From University Of Virginia

Trevor Patzer attended St. Paul's School from 1989 to 1992 in Concord, NH. After schooling, he completed his Bachelors of Arts Degree from Brown University and then enrolled at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA for Masters Degree in 1996.

 
Trevor Patzer studied at St. Paul's School, Concord, NH. He lead varsity cross-country running and skiing during his school days. He was also two-time undefeated national rowing champion in St. Paul's. After finishing his schooling, he attended Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island to complete his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology. Later, he received his Masters Degree in Educational Administration from University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA.

Trevor Patzer established Little Sisters Fund in 1998 which is a not-for-profit organization with a key objective to support girl education. The foundation works to eliminate the prime causes of low female literacy in Nepal and offer opportunities and hope to the girls so that they can take a path to a better future. Since inception, this foundation has been striving to provide the best educational opportunities to hardworking, intelligent, and financially disturbed girls from South Asia who are caught in extreme poverty, discrimination, and social prejudice.

Trevor Patzer is the executive director of this organization and has made numerous contributions to make this organization a huge success. He personally handles endowment and makes efforts to raise funds for offering scholarships to the Nepalese girls. Till date, he has raised over $3.5M. He also takes care of the PR, development, and all fund raising initiatives of the organization. He handles volunteer workers and more than 400 scholarship accounts.

Little Sisters Fund offers a great number of scholarship programs that support all tuition, supplies, books, and uniform costs for little sisters studying in semi-private, private, and government schools all across Nepal. The organization is closely working with 55 partner schools in 17 districts in Nepal. Apart from education opportunities, Little Sisters Fund also provides Health Care Programs to offer preventive and emergency healthcare.

At present, this organization is supporting over 1,150 girls. The works of Little Sisters Fund and the contribution of Trevor Patzer has been appreciated by the both local and international press. As a result of their efforts, works, and commitment towards the women empowerment, he was honored with Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship in 2003. He was also awarded St. Paul’s School Distinguished Alumni Award for leadership and Outstanding services in 2005. He received Dalai Lama’s Unsung Heroes of Compassion Award in 2009.
