Tawfik Adams possessed the vast knowledge and skills to formerly serve as the Assistant Principal at Bladensburg High School. Here, he was responsible for a wide array of roles and responsibilities. These included selection and hiring of support and instructional staff. Besides, he enforced board policies, administrative procedures and school-wide mandates. Tawfik also helped in the development and the communication of administrative policies dealing with academic, discipline, and attendance.

In 2011, Tawfik Adams served as Assistant Principal at Oxon Hill High School where he represented the school within community forums for the purpose of maintaining ongoing community support for educational goals. He also assisted with the issues related to school environment.

Possessing a professional certificate in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University, Tawfik Adams is employed as Assistant Principal Intern/Social Studies Teacher at Charles County Board of Education. He loves to teach his students the concepts of government, geography, economics, history and current events.

As the former instruction specialist, Tawfik possessed strong analytical, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Besides, he assisted in providing leadership for the overall instructional program, including selection and hiring of support and instructional staff. Besides, he adhered to and enforced board policies, administrative procedures, and school-wide mandates.

Completing his Doctorate Educational Leadership from Bowie State University in 2017, Tawfik Adams received the Dissertation of the Year Award 2017 for his dissertation titled “ A Qualitative Analysis; Determining the Impact Principal Leadership Style (Transactional, Transformational, Laissez-Faire ) on Teacher Job Satisfaction at Various Career Stages (Early, Middle, Late)”.

Emphasizing education leadership, he enrolled himself at Bowie State University to receive Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership. Being an aspiring educational leader, Tawfik Adams strives to reach, maintain and exceed the academic goals so that he can better advocate for the students by taking the proactive steps.

Currently, Tawfik Adams has been employed as the social studies teacher at Charles County Board of Education since 2017. Regarding the subject he teaches, Tawfik believes that social studies enable the students to put the current events into context and understand the world around them. Being a social studies teacher, he inspires the students to think critically about their world.
