Mr. Knight is currently working as the Chief Executive Officer of WorldTek Inc. He is also the owner of Travel Desk/American Express of Greenwich. He completed his graduation from the University of Oregon with a major in Economics.

Mr. Knight has previously worked with a number of firms like American Airlines, Sabre/ADS, Associated/Cardillo Travel in Los Angeles, McGregor Travel and Navigant International. It was because of Douglas Knight’s efforts that New Canaan based travel agency called McGregor Travel showed major growth. Mr. Knight also opened up McGregor Travel in the United Kingdom following the agency’s success in New Canaan, CT.

He is married to Shawnee Knight, the co-president and co-founder of a New Canaan based nonprofit organization called Filling in the Blanks for more than 20 years. Mr. Knight has travelled extensively across the globe.
