With the increasing number of social media networks and their role in the users' lives, it was obvious that sooner or later people will need new tools to manage all that information. In order to help them, MyLife has released a new service called the MyLife Social App and Dashboard.

The new Dashboard helps the users connect and manage their virtual life in a single central place. Basically, they can link their e-mail accounts and social media network profiles and view everything in a single spot, by using only one password.

Using the technology from Threadsy (a company bought by Mylife earlier this year), the user can connect his email accounts from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail and AOL as well as his social media profiles from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Mylife CEO, Jeff Tinsley, has announced that support for Pinterest and Tumblr will be available soon enough.

By using the new dashboard, users can view all their social media feeds and their emails in a single stream and they can also post comments, share photos or update their status directly from there. They choose what they want to share and where.

Mylife.com, formerly known as Reunion.com, now has more than 60 million registered users. According to its CEO, Jeff Tinsley, the site's growth has been more than 1.5 million users per month. This is also due to an aggressive marketing campaign with a budget for the current year of more than $25 million.

The MyLife Dashboard is free to use for all the users. However, there is a premium upgrade concerning identity management. If the users want to find out who has searched for their profiles and who has viewed them, they will have to pay for this perk. According to the company reports, at the moment there are more than 600,000 paid subscriptions.

According to a study ordered by MyLife and conducted by Harris Interactive, users nowadays are afraid of missing out on updates or important news if they don't check their social media profiles on a daily basis. This sensation of overwhelming is what made MyLife create this new dashboard, where users can see everything in a single place.
