“It is a lot easier to get where you need to be when you know where you’re going,” said Sheela Jane Rao. “If I ever miss a day when I don’t make a to-do list for the workplace, I get significantly less accomplished and have to make myself work twice as hard the next day. And let’s face it; no one wants to work twice as hard the next day.”

In addition, Sheela Jane Rao is a great people-person and is able to put these skills to the test every day at work. Her company works with a variety of people and being able to specifically relate to each one is a vital component of moving the business forward. Luckily for the company, Sheela Jane Rao has experience working with young children in an art class all the way to corporate CEOs, a full spectrum of interactions that comes in handy.

As a former teacher, Sheela Jane Rao believes she made the right decision by becoming an event coordinator. It allowed her to not only teach art but to practice art herself. Being creative has always been one of Sheela Jane Rao’s primary sources of expression and it is something she hopes she never stops doing.
