[19-07-2021] Anand Mehrotra, a Himalayan master and the founder of Sattva, had established the Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh to give Himalayan teachings in its purest form. From the very beginning, their mode of education is based on three great pillars: connect, transcend, and inspire. And the students, who come from different places in India and other countries, go through three of the most important lessons of their lives: evolution, clarity, and vitality.

Recently, on the auspicious event of International Yoga Day, a 3-day event was organized online at the academy. People who had joined had the golden opportunity to enjoy a 3-day retreat with the founder, life from the Himalayas. There were continuous daily activities, which started on the first day with morning aarti done by Vedic Pandits. The first day was filled with wisdom gathering by Anand Mehrotra. But the second and third days were filled with a flurry of yoga activities. Daily guided meditation, a journey of Sattva with Anand Mehrotra, and wisdom meetings and discussions were arranged each day. In addition, guided Kriya practise was conducted in the evening every day. People could also watch Kirtans and chanting of Samaveda live. The third day ended with a holy closing ceremony.

All the recorded sessions broadcasted live had been uploaded onto their online platform so that people can rewatch them per their aligned time zone. And also, people can get online access to the retreat for an additional 30 days.

Anand Mehrotra’s message to all the students goes by: “Your purpose here is to evolve, to transform, to experience radical aliveness, to awaken to your true nature. You are the path. The path is you.
