The duo recently taped a new episode of HGTV’s number-one holiday hit, “Celebrity Holiday Homes” in Duff’s Los Angeles home. In the popular holiday show, a celebrity gets a holiday home transformation, and this year, fan-favorite Ellis was tapped to help Duff create a winter wonderland in California.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better background for holiday glitter and lights,” Ellis said. “I absolutely loved working with Haylie and her amazing home, which we turned into a little bit of Southern California holiday wonderland.”

In the upcoming show, Ellis helps Duff transform her beautiful kitchen and large, relaxing family room (“another beautiful space begging for holiday décor”) as well as entryways and staircases for the holidays. “I had Haylie hot gluing like a pro to make exquisite topiary decorations for her many, many surfaces,” Ellis added.

In addition, actress, singer, writer and blogger Haylie Duff is currently working on a cookbook. In their upcoming episode, she tried out one of its recipes, sausage and cheese stuffed mushrooms with jalapeno peppers with Ellis, who gave it rave reviews.

Episodes of the top-rated “Celebrity Holiday Homes” are scheduled to air on HGTV throughout December.
