This article announces the release of a new mashup by Dhwani, the best Bollywood live performing band in India. This article also contains a critical review of the mashup video released by Dhwani

Full of quirkiness and fun- this is how Dhwani’s new urban jam ‘Strip That Down for Me - Khaana Khaake Daaru Peeke Chale Gaye’ can be described. Dhwani, the leading Bollywood live performing band in India has released this amazing mashup on 4th January 2018. This Hindi- English mashup belongs to the genre of rhythmic pop- the trend of the day. No wonder why Dhwani has selected one chartbuster- ‘Strip That Down For Me’ from Liam Payne’s debut solo album which also features Quavo released on 19th May 2017, and the norm-defying number ‘Khaana Khaake’ from ‘Jagga Jasoos’ composed by Pritam and released on 14th July 2017.
Unlike its other mashup videos, Dhwani has tried to put up an act. Good music is already the forte of Dhwani, the best Bollywood live performing band in India. This time they have walked the extra mile to bring some more to the table. The mashup opens by closely following the singing style of ‘Khaana Khaake’ with each of the singers singing a line in turn, and that is quite pictorial too as each poses in a different frame. The latest Dhwani mashup video is a combination of soulful singing combined with a narrative told visually.
From the expressions and the communicative movements of the singing trio of Dhwani, the audience is bound to have a whale of a time. When Sarita rolls her eyes at 6 gear speed or when Srriram pops up while rounding his lips or when Navin puts up his exclusive straight-face expressions, the audience cannot help but put a grinning look on their face. Such is the magic of the leading Bollywood live performing music band in India. Surely, in no other videos of Dhwani the singers were seen in such candid, fun-loving avatar. The video is reflective of the on-stage personality of the singers. Srriram is seen wearing his signature cap while Sarita is at her best cute self while being the classy girl-next-door. The background, colour scheme, and settings deserve special appreciation.
From this angle, this mashup of Dhwani, the best Bollywood live performing band in India can be termed an experimental one. They aimed at reflecting the fun that is inclusive of the lyrics, especially ‘Khaana Khaake’. Their actions resembled the literal translation of lyrics of both the songs. For instance, while Navin voices ‘sippin’ lightly’, you can actually find Sarita and Srriram sipping their drinks, while Navin is seen having a tough time choosing between ‘One Coke and Bacardi’. The chemistry of the three has taken this music video to a whole new level. The treatment was thoughtful, innovative and well-executed.
Dhwani, the best Bollywood live performing music band in India has closely followed the music style of both the songs. Throughout the video, they switch to and fro, blending the two songs so well that the audience enjoys the whole without a single hitch. The mashup begins with the chorus of ‘Khaana Khaake’, followed by Navin touching the notes of ‘Strip That Down for Me’. All three of Dhwani members have a terrific screen presence and not for once their body language seems clichéd.
From the performance of Dhwani in this video, a lot more will be expected in future by their fan base. Dhwani, the best Bollywood live performing band in India, which was already synonymous with great music enjoyed by all age groups, has undertaken a new approach to take their music to the masses, and well received by all. Undoubtedly this is one of the best mashups by Dhwani.
