LAS VEGAS, Nevada (May 3, 2014) - After The Triple Play Casino, Lounge and Restaurant on Decatur Boulevard closed after a 27 year run in December 2013, Triple Play chef Jim Egloff, with his wife Judy, found a new opportunity inside Boodles Tavern and Gaming. It is located just one traffic light west of Rainbow on Charleston Boulevard at Antelope Way. It is Triple Play American Grill. It opened on March 7, 2014.

When you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff in a cozy, American themed room. Judy put her heart and soul into redecorating this space to make it her own. She says, “I wanted people to feel at home here, with a little taste of New Orleans and baseball. What’s more American than that?”

Chef Jimmy has brought the best of the best from the Triple Play menu. Known has “The Home of the Cheesesteak” you will be hard pressed to find a Signature Cheesesteak that you can’t fall in love with: the Original, with grilled onions; The Triple Play (loaded with fresh mushrooms, green bell peppers and onions) to The Vegas (with jalapenos and green bell peppers) and The Hoagie (topped with lettuce, tomato and onion with Italian dressing to finish it). Only the best beef sirloin is used in the steak; no fillers or “pump” added. The meat is seasoned with their proprietary seasoning blend. Only Amoroso Rolls are used: toasted on the grill. It’s not a cheesesteak unless you bring in Amoroso rolls.

As Jimmy says, “I am excited to bring the best of what The Triple was known for in quality food and service to Triple Play American Grill. We are proud to serve only the finest beef, chicken and fresh produce on straight from Philadelphia Amoroso rolls.” And big too! The 10 inch sandwich contains a full ½ pound of meat. That’s just the beginning. The Burgers are Certified Angus Beef ® half pound patties: build it your way. The Doctor Reuben sandwich is delicious too. Starters, chicken wings and fingers, great salads and melts round out the menu. And for dessert try Judy’s Noodle Doodles. A little bite packed with sweet flavor.
