How about a real meal for a school child in Congo, instead of just a piece of chocolate?

In November, for the third time now, the 24GoodDeads calendar will be available. Behind each door there hides a German or international aid project that is concretely and visibly supported through the calendar. Two examples are the vaccination of an endangered child in Guatemala or the contribution of bricks for a school being built in Burkina Faso.

2012 was a successful year for the honorary team of 24GoodDeeds e. V.: a total of Euro 120.000,- was donated. But the calendar wasn’t only financially successful. The calendar’s Slow Loris project for endangered apes (Indonesia) was awarded with the Bavin award for outstanding projects at Washington’s Convention on International

Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora 2013 during the CITES-conference.

Around a recycling campaign in Nicaragua a local waste separation movement came into existence.

If nothing else, those are reasons for more and more organisations to apply for a door in the 24GoodDeeds calendar. This year, 80 projects competed for each spot in the calendar.

One can receive the calendar in exchange for a donation of Euro 24,- upwards. What exactly the 2013 donations are going to achieve and who will benefit from them is being revealed each day behind the calendar doors – and, even more detailed, on the 24GoodDeeds website.
