Thousands of young people from around the world will come together to celebrate the sustainability and raise awareness about recycling at Foxtail Fest.

On September 14, 2013, thousands of young adults from around the world will come together for the first annual Foxtail Fest in Wilmington, Delaware. Foxtail Fest has been organized by What Scene? which is a music and lifestyle media company. What Scene? was founded in 2013 by Brandon Potter, Curtis Matthias, and Geoff "Champs" Vanover. All three men have been instrumental in the success of Foxtail Fest. Brandon and Geoff graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 2012 both with degrees in Marketing and Music Industry.

Foxtail Fest will be the first music festival of its kind ever in Wilmington. This event is expected to be a great success for the City of Wilmington. Brandon Potter expressed his excitement in the upcoming festival. “We are extremely proud of what we have created for the youth of Wilmington, Delaware, and beyond with some traveling from as far as the United Kingdom to “Party Positively” with us at Foxtail Fest 2013.” Foxtail Fest will be bringing together both local and national performing artists on both stages in addition to having over 35 local businesses in the Foxtail Flea Market. While sustainability and social awareness are the main aspects of the event, music and a sense of community are just as important. The youth of today are more socially aware than any other generation and festivals like Foxtail Fest show their desire to spread social awareness and the knowledge about eco-friendly and sustainable products.

Foxtail Fest supports the environment even through the ticketing procedure. In partnering with In Ticketing, Foxtail Fest is able to offer the festival-goers the option to help plant one tree for every ticket sold. To show just how serious they are about the environment hundreds of trees will be planted and recycling will be promoted at Foxtail Fest. In addition to the focus on sustainability young people from around the world will come to Foxtail Fest to see over twenty local and national Hip Hop, Electronic, and Indie Rock acts perform on two separate stages. Foxtail Fest will draw thousands of young people from around the world who wish to support sustainability and encourage people to be more eco-friendly.
