“I’m thrilled to have this opportunity. Ballet is such a beautiful art form, and we need to support it to keep this art thriving, especially today,” says Madeline McGartlin. Indeed, today’s increasingly technological world has left many of the fine arts struggling to stay afloat. Symphonies are going bankrupt and recital halls are emptier than they were a decade ago. “By supporting organizations like Ballet Austin Guild, we can keep the arts strong and help them thrive again,” says Madeline McGartlin.

Since 1975, the Ballet Austin Guild has supported and promoted the interests of Ballet Austin. Madeline McGartlin is thrilled to be part of an organization that has played such a vital role in the community for over the years. “We really enjoy the opportunity to work alongside Madeline,” says another member. “She’s so down to earth and friendly, but don’t let that fool you – she works harder than anyone else I know.”

When she isn’t volunteering with Ballet Austin Guild, Madeline McGartlin enjoys the productions that Ballet Austin, The Academy, and other educational programs put on. Madeline McGartlin has long supported the arts and was originally a student of the arts. She attended the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas from 1980 to 1984. She encourages all aspects of her local cultural arts community.

Madeline McGartlin works as a highly respected HR professional and has spent many years working in retail as a recruiter, personal shopper, and even a period as a professional makeup artist. Madeline McGartlin was even part owner of Ralph Lauren in Santa Barbara, California. She enjoys her professional endeavors, Madeline McGartlin says that the arts and physical fitness are top priorities for her. Friends and family alike all marvel at her ability to participate in so many different activities and organizations.
