When Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries was founded in 1909, its founders could hardly have foreseen the amount of impact the Ministry would have on its community over the years. Current President and CEO of DRMM Dr Chad Audi is overseeing one of the most productive times in the company’s long history, and couldn’t be happier about the direction the organization is heading going forward.

DRMM is one of the largest nonprofit treatment programs in the United States, providing a wealth of services to the community, according to Dr Chad Audi. Some of these services include over a million meals to the homeless and hungry; shelter for nearly 4,000 people per night; countless clothing drives to clothe the needy; substance abuse treatment, transitional housing, and spiritual guidance, to name just a few. Dr Chad Audi’s leadership has seen the reach of DRMM increase even more than ever before, and all under a leadership that has a keen eye for the bottom line, for keeping the projects fully funded and sustainable.

“What we have been able to do here at DRMM is to create a place that is actually making a significant, tangible difference in the community, every single day, every single night,” Dr Chad Audi was quoted as saying. “When you are providing shelter for 4,000 people per night, every night of the year, you are doing a noticeable good. We cannot fix all the city’s problems, but I am incredibly proud of the difference we are able to make.”
