In 2013, Azazul Fikar celebrated six and a half years with his employer, Pharmavite LLC. Azazul Fikar has held two different positions over the years and was considered one of the most respected and highly trusted individuals in the company before moving on to a new position at Promitom.

“I don’t take my opportunities here for granted,” said Azazul Fikar. “I appreciate all of the opportunity and responsibility the company has given me, and I wouldn’t be where I am without them.”

Azazul Fikar was originally hired by Pharmavite in March of 2007 as a Compounder. He held this position for five years, until February of 2012. As a compounder, Azazul Fikar had a variety of different roles. Azazul Fikar analyzed inventory issues, ordered ingredients, used a variety of different machines and programs, and reported daily transactions to management.

“I learned a lot from my first job here, and I think I became really good at what I did. But it was eventually time to move up, and I was really excited with the opportunity they presented me with,” Azazul Fikar said.

His next job title would be as Production Supervisor. He held this title since March of 2012. With the promotion came a lot more responsibility, something Azazul Fikar is not afraid of. “I probably have three times the amount of responsibility I used to have, but I love it. I’m driven by lots of responsibilities, and I think I do a good job at clearly communicating and effectively meeting deadlines and goals,” Azazul Fikar said.

Azazul Fikar’s scope of responsibility included motivating, coaching, and counseling his department, prioritizing the work load, creating schedules, and assigning duties. Pharmavite relied on Azazul Fikar to supervise, train, and develop employees to be efficient and productive. “They basically asked me to teach people things I’m naturally good at. I enjoy it, and I think the department has improved since I was hired on,” Azazul Fikar said.

Azazul Fikar isn’t much for looking back on the past, but he does find some satisfaction in knowing he has made a positive influence on the company over the past six plus years. He has since moved on to a position with Promitom as a manager and is experiencing considerable success there.
