Paul Bunton and BCA Architects are proud to announce the opening of their 21st century classroom. This state of the art classroom has been set up in the offices of the BCA Architects headquarters in San Jose, California. Already over a dozen schools have come to see Paul Bunton’s vision of the future of education. This interactive classroom setting gives educators and students a glimpse into the new technology that schools will need to implement, if they hope to keep up with changing technology.

The new classrooms include an interactive projector, an LED touch screen TV and an interactive white board. Many classrooms around the country are already implementing many of Paul Bunton’s designs into their schools. Paul Bunton’s design also includes multiple interactive tablets, an upgraded sound system, and a new seating arrangement. Gone are the rows of desks. The new open seating classrooms in Paul Bunton’s design contribute to a more collaborative experience for the students.

Student Michael Brooks was one of the first to see the new classroom design. “It was awesome. There were no desks and we were all able to use tablets that had all of the textbooks pre-loaded. The teacher could select our tablet and whatever we were working on would appear on the giant white board. I liked the seating arrangement – it was more of a circle, and everyone could participate better than we could in our regular desks.” Many of Michael’s classmates felt the same way, and left wishing their classroom was more like Paul Bunton’s design. Many of the teachers were hopeful that the technology that was shown in the classroom would be available to them in the near future.

Paul Bunton and his team worked with educators, administrators, students and parents to create his 21st century classroom. The interactive setting encourages students to participate and communicate in a way that a traditional classroom setting never could. Paul Bunton is on a mission to create a better learning environment for our children. From the incorporation of new technology to creating an environment that encourages participation, Paul Bunton is invested in making the education system better. Paul Bunton’s new 21st century classroom is what is necessary for our children to compete in the new world.
