Parkview Community Hospital recently held its 34th Annual Golf Tournament

Parkview Community Hospital recently held its 34th annual J. Dee Lansing, M.D. Golf Tournament this past August. The tournament took place at the Journey at Pechanga course in Temecula, California, about an hour south of Riverside. All proceeds went to assist Parkview Community Hospital in purchasing new special care equipment for their facilities.

Parkview Community Hospital’s annual event takes place each year in order to promote fun recreational time and provide financial support for practical needs. This year’s event took place on Monday August 26th, and was a fun time as usual. The backdrop was the beautiful Journey at Pechanga course.

Just like Parkview Community Hospital, the Journey at Pechanga course is rooted in history. The course’s name, built on Pechanga ancestral land, means “place where the water drips.” Playing at Pechanga is simply breathtaking, with natural water, beautiful oak trees, and pristine greens. One Parkview Community Hospital employee had this to say: “That is by far the nicest course I have ever played on. Parkview Community Hospital’s annual golf tournament is always fun, and I can’t think of a greater place to have it than down there at Pechanga.”

The course was designed by renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills, and he did not spare anything in the process. “The course is simply magnificent. You’ve got views, water, perfect greens, the whole nine yards,” said a participant in the Parkview Community Hospital 34th Annual Golf Tournament. Parkview Community Hospital chose the course for its event because of the prestige it brings with it. Pechanga has received accolades from a long list of people and organizations, including Golf Magazine and GolfWeek.

Parkview Community Hospital’s annual golf outing is just one of the many events the hospital puts on each year. In addition to supporting various local and national charities, Parkview Community Hospital also provides community members free educational classes, clubs, and programs.

“We had another great day out on the course. I think the people who attend look forward to this event all year long, and I’m happy to say it was successful yet again,” said the host of the Parkview Community Hospital’s Annual Golf Tournament.
