Year after year, the number of communities and people in distress seems to increase. If people are not at the mercy of man-made catastrophes, they are suffering from natural disasters that could not have been avoided but require international help to recover. Whether it is local, regional, national, or global, there are a number of communities that need help and many people willing to assist others.

Fabian Samuel Bangalore has spent a great deal of his time in India. As a country with ancient roots and communities ranging from extreme poverty to vast wealth, Fabian Samuel Bangalore does his own part to help those in his own country. The primary way Fabian Samuel Bangalore supports efforts to improve and support his community is through regular donations and contributions.

“For years I have made donations to the Indian Missionary Society. I have also spent time assisting the society with some of the activities it has organized,” says Fabian Samuel Bangalore. The society uses donations to spread the gospel throughout India while also supporting the impoverished through government welfare and assistance programs. Fabian Samuel Bangalore was introduced to the Indian Missionary Society when he became an active member of the Church of South India after moving to India from the United States.

Fabian Samuel Bangalore has primarily donated to the Indian Missionary Society but also supports cancer programs. “Cancer does not discriminate and takes the lives of people from all economic classes and all skill levels. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to get treatment and their families suffer in return,” says Fabian Samuel Bangalore.

To help fight cancer and show his support for cancer patients and their families, Fabian Samuel Bangalore began donating to the Cancer Caring Society. Similar to his donations to the Indian Missionary Society, Fabian Samuel Bangalore began his support of the cancer society after moving and beginning his career in India. With a solid career and educational attainment of a Master’s degree, regular donations remain his way to help the less fortunate.

However, Fabian Samuel Bangalore does not turn a blind eye to those in need around the world. “Whenever there is an international disaster and I get the urge to help, I look for a reputable charity to donate to so people can get their lives back in order,” says Fabian Samuel Bangalore. So in 2011, after the Japanese tsunami destroyed the coastline, Fabian Samuel Bangalore donated several times to the Japanese tsunami recovery effort.
