Curtis Jacobsen worked hard while he was in school, as he wanted to do his best. After 2 years of work, he earned an Associate in Science degree in Business Administration.

After Curtis Jacobsen graduated from Bellevue Community College, he knew that he wanted to continue his education. With that in mind, Curtis Jacobsen began attending courses at the University of Washington. The school is located in Seattle, Washington, so this afforded Curtis Jacobsen the chance to move to a new city. He enjoyed livening in a new city, but he knew he had to continue to focus on his studies.

Curtis Jacobsen studied even harder than he had before in order to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. After graduating from college, Curtis Jacobsen moved on to enter the work force, but he did not give up on his education.

Curtis Jacobsen has become certified in a number of different areas that focus on technological and electrical systems. On September 17,2003, Curtis Jacobsen became a Class A Limited Energy Tech. This requires becoming licensed by taking part in an apprenticeship program. Curtis Jacobsen says, “I was an apprentice for about 4 years before I was licensed. I was required to take at least 144 hours of classes each year, but I was also required to receive at least 6,000 hours of on-the-job training as well.”

Curtis Jacobsen has found a great deal of use for his training, as he is able to install and maintain electrical systems. In addition to that, Curtis Jacobsen is also able to repair and replace equipment as well, so long as they are under 100 volt-amperes.
