Adhiraj Chintakrindi is a busy professional; however, he always finds time to spend with his loved ones. He talks about finding a balance and how to ensure friendships flourish in this hectic culture.

Adhiraj Chintakrindi is a highly skilled software professional. Currently, Adhiraj Chintakrindi is employed as the software IT consultant and the middleware administrator. Although Adhiraj Chintakrindi has a substantial workload, he always finds time to spend with friends and family. Adhiraj Chintakrindi wants to raise awareness of our culture that is immersed in distractions, and hopes to promote time management so more people have time to spend with the ones they love.

Adhiraj Chintakrindi recently spoke out about the growing issue, he stated, “We live in a culture that is so focused on work and success. Everyone attends school so they can get a job. Once we get into a company we like, we work hard to obtain a promotion. Once we get a promotion, we want another one. It is a constant cycle of success never being enough. Don’t get me wrong, I believe that having a solid foundation for a career is important—but we must stop obsessing over work. Here in America, we hold all of our value in our occupation. We find personal identity in our careers. This mindset is going to lead to a downward spiral of unhappiness in our lives. It is so crucial that we spend time building our relationships with other people, and we must not get caught up in the distractions our culture has created. The idea that work is more important than relationships is a lie our culture created.”

Adhiraj Chintakrindi offered advice to those wanting to step away from the office, he stated, “I think what we must all do is define what success means to us. Is it money, status, or is it happiness? I think deep down we all want to be happy, and the only way to accomplish that is to lead a life of meaning. Once we distinguish what is of utmost important to us, we need to actively pursue it. If you want to be more available to friends and family—then make that goal and strive for it every day. Once we stop holding the idea of success on a pedestal, we will be able to step back and see what is really important in our lives.”
