Raffles away training, tickets to help fund annual U.S. Marine Corps Birthday Ball.

Every year, for the past 235 years, the 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (4th LAR) has hosted its annual U.S. Marine Corps Birthday Ball to celebrate its inception. There, the marines and their families are treated to a night of dining and dancing as a way to celebrate the history of the United States Marine Corps.

For the 236th U.S. Military Corps Birthday Ball, Irvine fitness center Innovative Results hopes to make it the best one yet.

IR and the 4th LAR will raffle off a free month’s worth of training every month, for five months, until November. The money raised from purchased raffle tickets will be donated to help reduce the military ball’s budget and give our troops an amazing night.

“Whether it’s their first Birthday Ball, their sixth Birthday Ball, or their last, those guys will be sure to remember it. Their families will, too,” said Corey Beasley, co-owner of Irvine fitness center IR.

Originally, co-owners Beasley and Aaron Guyett were searching for ways to have a lasting, positive effect on people in the community and how to bring health to them. In this case, both agree that’s just an added bonus. It’s the support the community can give the troops that trumps their effort.

“People will receive training, and that’s great, but the real key to this one is that everyone can give back to the troops. Everyone can do something small to say thank you and it could have a really big impact,” said Guyett.

Together, the team of IR trainers has proven there’s truth to the age-old idiom, “Hard work pays off.” Innovative Results has been voted number one personal trainers in Orange County for the past two years in a row.

Now, the IR team is hoping to show everyone how much can be achieved when everyone comes together and works toward one goal: to give the troops at Camp Pendleton a memorable night.

Winners of the raffle will be chosen every month during the Marine training periods. To pick up a raffle ticket, contact IR co-owners Aaron Guyett or Corey Beasley.

Innovative Results is quickly become the household name for fitness in Orange County. The Costa Mesa Fitness team’s unconventional approach to fitness and exceptional personal training programs are paving new ground in the exercise world. So much more than a gym, it’s an adventure.
