Discipline – which was the key agenda of the 8th Client Engagement Program (CEP) organized by omega financial on 23rd Oct 2019 at Dongargarh.
To keep you informed , CEP is the series of the engagement programs initiated by Omega Financial this year in 2019 to update the clients about the investment principles and habits required for the wealth creation. It is not only giving precious insights to the investors of omega financial wrt investments and wealth creation but organization is also getting closer to their investors on every event by way of feedbacks. So far, Omega Financial has covered several important and crucial topics like retirement planning, tax planning, selection between different financial products, smart investment planning etc. under different versions of CEP.
CEP-8: THE EYE OPENER ( sahi nazar sahi nivesh ) has the sole objective of highlighting all those points which, even though we are acquainted , still we remain casual .This event has the serious motive to teach and tell all those principles which are utmost required to create a sound financial wealth .
Event started with the most obvious, easy but very abstract question – “Do money bring happiness to you?” and “How much money can make you feel rich?”
It showed the survey as how people are feared about having insufficient money for all their future needs. Even how a misbalance gets created between asset and income of an individual due to the investment behavior. Event highlighted about how we allocate our asset to our financial goals which are solely inaccurate as they are not measured properly.
In this era of the unsecured job environment, CEP-8, also wanted us to ponder over the points which can’t be ignored in the journey of disciplined wealth creation like, creating an emergency corpus, prudent personal expenses management, creating a good financial investment portfolio etc.
As the program progressed it showed why we ignore most important financial goal of our life i.e., Retirement. Survey showed maximum individual do not take it as their priority, and hence pay a heavy delay cost (cost which has been explained with an image illustration)
It also told the audience to measure the size of the retirement goal needed, not to just rely on the employer benefits provided. The ironic part of this was, many of us rely on kids to supplement our retirement scarcity, but the survey shows the contrary situation.
Speaker of the event stressed the common mistakes to avoid which procrastinate the wealth making process. These mistakes include ignoring health and term insurance, over allocating in fixed deposits etc. Points such as over debt in our personal financial life was also been explained with the help of few important questions one has to ask from him/herself.
The main agenda of the program was to make a more disciplined approach to our personal investment planning. Omega Financial believes that investors once find a balance between disciplined approach and goal planning there would be a minor gap between absolute profit and opportunity loss.
This gap was being explained by the speaker with the help of an illustration as how on choosing a traditional investment for the longer duration one can lose over a big opportunity of wealth creation. Though you may get absolute gain over the investment but a right investment would have caused you reaping around 4-5 times more value in a longer term.
Event ended with a request and two mantras for creating a sound financial planning and that was –
• Be an expert by applying all your ideas and thoughts to execution
• Add compounding to your life by applying 1% of the discipline in investment
