BELIZE CITY, BELIZE, June 29 – BELIZE GLOBAL MEDIA (BGM) has entered into an agreement with two Belizean music producers which is in step with the company’s objective of providing a positive impact on the media and entertainment sector in Belize. “This agreement affords us the opportunity to develop and promote local musicians”, says Nigel Miguel, President.

Over the past few weeks BGM has been meeting with producers in the country and decided to collaborate with James Sanker (Belize Artist Agency) and Merrick Simmons (Firestorm Productions) for starters. “These individuals and their respective artists possess the skills and creativity required in today’s hyper-competitive music industry”, says Gerald Wiggins, Head of Music Development and Promotion.

BGM and Belize Music Agency (BMA) will lay another major cornerstone in the development of the Belize Music Industry, the partnership will bring to the world market Belize’s rich cultural rhythms with a new and modern arrangement that is produced specifically to access a targeted would markets.
“Belize’s Greatest wealth is our abundance of talented creative people. All that is needed is an enabling environment. One great example of this is a recording artist by the name of NURU. He is a perfect example of this and is the reason Belize Music Agency choose NURU as one of the first artists to work with BGM”, says James Sanker, founder of BMA.
