Seattle, WA – Travis D. Howard, Founder and Client Service Executive of National Judgment Enforcement Group (NJE Group), is leading the way in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) with specialized training to provide clients with the highest level of service.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15 USC 1692 et seq.) became effective in March 1978 as an amendment to the Consumer Credit Protection Act to accomplish multiple goals, primary of which was to eliminate abusive, deceptive and unfair debt collection practices. The Act also works to protect reputable debt collectors and agencies from unfair competition, while encouraging consistent action by the state to protect consumers from debt collection abuses.

NJE Group is committed to the highest standards of excellence in FDCPA compliance and maintains a membership with FDCPA Certification, LLC (fdcpacertification.com), a FDCPA authorized education provider. The FDCPA training course covers all aspects of the Act, encompasses multiple section course tests, and culminates in an intensive 80 question final exam.

“Having completed the course provided by FDCPA Certification, I can attest to the quality and thoroughness of the information that was presented. This course is a proven aid towards our unremitting dedication for impeccable compliance,” said Howard.

NJE Group requires all current and future staff members to pass all sections of the course tests with a score of 100 percent. Additionally, each individual must score 90 percent or better on the stringent FDCPA course final exam and receive a certificate of completion before they’re allowed to work on cases.

NJE Group’s certification requirements provide clients with an added level of confidence knowing that their judgments are being conducted appropriately and that their reputation and image is preserved. In addition, FDCPA compliance helps reduce or prevent frivolous Defendant litigation and makes it easier for defendants to negotiate payment.

As an asset location and judgment recovery agency, NJE Group is keenly aware of industry regulations and the conduct expected of its agents in the performance of their duties. FDCPA certification supports the company’s commitment to its clients and adherence to the law.

NJE Group is taking the necessary steps to ensure all staff is fully cognizant of the many facets associated with FDCPA, allowing the company to provide a superior level of service for clients.
