WLAN- und Bluetooth-Modul waren eingebunden, ebenso der Nouveau-Treiber für die Nvidia-GPU. Das von Aldi Süd angebotenen Aktions-Notebook Medion Erazer P7652 liefert eine hohe Prozessor- und eine ordentliche Grafikleistung. Der Lüfter des Erazer P7652 bleibt nur bei geringer Systemlast leise, und manche Details könnten besser gelöst sein – etwa die USB-C-Buchse oder der Kartenleser

Und der Name des Geräts ist Programm: Laut Hersteller verkörpert das Book One nichts Geringeres als „die kompromisslose Neuinterpretation des 2-in-1-Konzepts“. Ähnlichkeiten mit dem Surface Book von Microsoft sind aber keineswegs zufällig. Denn das Book One entstand in enger Kooperation mit dem amerikanischen IT-Konzern; es wird unter anderem auch über den Microsoft-Store vertrieben. Das Gehäusekonzept ist dennoch einzigartig. Es handelt sich sozusagen um ein doppeltes 2-in-1- Modell. Denn zum einen verfügt das Book One über 360-Grad-Scharniere, mit denen sich das Gerät komplett um die eigene Achse drehen lässt, was ergänzend zum Notebook-Betrieb zusätzliche Nutzungs- varianten (Stand-, Zelt-, Tablet-Modus) ermöglicht. Zum anderen lässt sich das Display auch komplett von der Basiseinheit abtrennen. Die Entriegelung erfolgt – analog zum Surface Book – elektrisch über eine spezielle Taste.
