An infiltration of new home gym equipment as been released this 2011 to address growing concerns of increased heart disease cases in the U.S.

A study conducted by a special medical research team has yielded the following results. In the last half of 2010, the number of reported cases of heart disease in women rose. Examples of such conditions of the heart are increased blood pressure, stroke and angina. The number of reported cases in middle aged women from 30 – 45 years rose by 7% compared to last year.

Exercise more

Medical researches attribute the rise in heart disease cases to the general lack of physical activity of the reported women in question. When asked about what they do in a typical day, most of the respondents said they either watched TV or spent time in front of the computer. Dr. Lawrence Watkins says there is definitely a link between inactivity and incidents of heart problems. “It is estimated that 35% of coronary heart disease mortality is due to physical inactivity.” He says. “These women need to exercise more.

No time

“Even just 20 to 30 minutes of walking, moderate housecleaning or gardening everyday is enough to improve the cardiovascular system and to strengthen the heart and lungs.” Fitness instructor Jessica Lint stresses. The problem however is that most women of that age cannot seem to find time to squeeze in exercise in their lives. “I must remain inside the house and take care of the baby. Going outside is just out of the question.”

Indoor exercise equipment

Because of this apparent need of more indoor exercise, there is a rise of demand for home gym equipment such as treadmills, elliptical machines and dumb bells. A favorite among housewives and husbands alike is The sole e35 elliptical trainer. It has been reviewed by fitness critics to be one of the best elliptical trainers to be released in 2011. Elliptical trainers are considered to be one of the best forms of exercise as it gives a complete workout at an affordable price.

All shapes and sizes

“The Sole E35 Elliptical trainer is the answer to many physically inactive housewives’ problems. It is something you can use inside the home. It provides a great workout. It is relatively affordable and you don’t have to worry about leaving your kids at home.” A magazine critic said about the product. “There is no need to worry about being too heavy or having no exercise. The best thing about an elliptical is anybody and at whatever fitness level can exercise on it. It is adjustable to all sizes and shapes.” He remarks.
