The show is looking for couples for a new series - like the Stockton groom who planned a remote island wedding

Are you planning on getting married but can’t stump up the cash?

Well how does £14,000 sound?

But before you get too excited, be warned - there is a catch.

This cash would come from the makers of Don’t Tell The Bride - the notorious series in which the bridegroom has to organise every aspect of the event, including the wedding dress.

A post on the show’s Facebook page reads: “We are looking for couples who would love to get married THIS YEAR with a FREE £14,000 wedding budget!

“If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you!”

Don’t Tell The Bride is moving to Sky One as it’s usual home, BBC Three makes the move to becoming an online-only channel.

Producers for the show say it will be in a “pacier format” and have upped the stakes by increasing the budget from £12,000.

Brides-to-be will need nerves of steel to take part in the show going by previous episodes.

In the past their have been disasters such as wedding dresses numerous sizes to big, missing guests, and peculiar invites.

One bride was even convinced to jump out of a plane on her big day while another got married in a swimming pool - getting her white gown completely drenched.

And last year Stockton survival enthusiast Tom Johnson, 37, planned an ambitious outdoor wedding on a beautiful remote Scottish island.
