BOSTON - ChronicleMe, a new online community that offers users positive feedback for posting their thoughts while remaining anonymous is out to change the way the public uses social media. ChronicleMe (CMe) allows users to anonymously post their everyday secrets and receive positive feedback from other users who have shared the same experiences. Users can either remain anonymous or choose when to reveal themselves to their followers.

CMe is comprised of two distinct online communities, CMe Laugh and CMe Support. CMe Laugh is a fun, humorous space where users can anonymously share funny stories and musings, while CMe Support is a safe, encouraging space where users can anonymously share their secrets and seek positive feedback from peers in similar situations. Both communities offer users the chance to post their experiences and thoughts anonymously while receiving only positive feedback from other CMe users.

ChronicleMe was founded by Philips Exeter alum Anthony Richichi. One night while in his dorm room at school Richichi received some troubling news. His initial reaction was to take to social media to post about his experience. Richichi feared the backlash of who would read his post. He was seeking support but was not ready to let the world know his news. Fearing the post would be read by classmates, relatives, professors and future employers Richichi created CMe and its anonymous features allowing users to post without the fear of who may be seeing it.
