Harry Coumnas has a mindset of a futurist and is a person who has studied a lot about the events that may happen in coming future. He thinks that people should be ready and prepared for such devastating events. One of these events, which has the most chances of happening is an Apocalypse. To help people and make them understand that they still have enough time to prepare themselves, he has came up with two things which will be necessary for basic survival and will come in use in the situation like an apocalypse.

At the top of the list, Harry Coumnas chooses store supplies for as many days as possible. He believes that it is always good to make a long term planning, when the whole country, or the entire world will be falling apart. Hopefully, having the supplies for a whole year will be a good start. Pick the most important ones that include jugs of water, canned goods, vacuum-sealed goods, Blanket and pillow, medications, a knife (also a weapon), clothing, carrying bags (for moving and/or fleeing).

The second thing, which Harry Coumnas thinks is important, is a communication system. Walkie-talkies, radios can help people connect with each other and they can do this by setting their devices on a particular channel, or frequency. Batteries are as much important as radio. Keeping the extra packs of batteries will be a good idea.
